Legislation-based employee representation in company administration
If no agreement on employee representation in company administration is reached, the model decreed by law is applied.
Legislation-based employee representation in company administration must be implemented in the body selected by the company if this is requested by a minimum of two personnel groups that jointly represent the majority of the personnel. The request of even one personnel group is enough if the company has only employees who belong to this group.
Representation must be realised within one year of the request and the body must be a body where issues related to the company’s business operations, finances and the personnel’s position are discussed.
Employees’ administrative representatives must be appointed in addition to the other members of the body as determined the company’s articles of association or rules. The number of administrative representatives may amount at a maximum to one fourth of the number of other members of the body in question; however, there must be at least one and at most four administrative representatives.
