Agreement-based employee representation in company administration
The employer and the personnel may agree in which body/bodies the personnel is represented.
The number of administrative representatives can also be agreed freely.
However, agreements cannot be concluded in derogation of provisions on the administrative representative’s qualifica-tions, protection against unjustified dismissal and confidentiality obligation. Also, it cannot be agreed that the administrative representative’s responsibility would differ from the responsibility of other members of the body in question.
The agreement on employee representation in company administration must be made in writing and it can be in force for a certain period of time or until further notice.
The agreement arrangement can also be made for an entire group of companies.
